No HTTP through Proxy

Hi peeps,

Im having difficulty getting HTTP connections through my proxy server. Im running:
NT4 Server SP6a
Proxy Server 2
MS Exchange SP4

I have been able to ping external sites, ftp to an external FTP server, telnet externally and I am still getting e-mail as well as sending. I have looked on the MS Support site, this seems to suggest that port 1080 may already be in use by another service, but after using the 'netstat -an' command I think its not...

Could anyone shed any light onto this matter for me pls? I dont really want this 2meg pipe to goto waste ;o)

1080 is usually socks protocol.

have u tried changing the port. our ms proxy 2 http runs thru port 80

the HTTP is running through port 80 here as well. I have tried loooking for any other services or something that may have been installed that is trying to use that port...
