Hi All

I found out that there were no entries in savegrp.log
after May 4, but all backups ran fine. Restores also by
the way...
How can I re-enable logging to savegrp.log ? Any
ideas ?

Thx in advance

Have you changed the Action attribute of the Savegroup Completion notification? This hould have the following
entry on Windows, in order to log to savegrp.log (change path to match your system if needed):

nsrlog -f "C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\logs\savegrp.log"

You could always try to shutdown NW, rename the savegrp.log
to savegrp.old, restart NW and then run a scheduled
backup. The savegrp.log is only created when a scheduled backup runs, so you can´t just start the group from the gui.
Hope it helps!

Cheers!

To my knowledge, you can not even stop NW to create this log information as it is essential. But as NWNinja correctly said, you might have change the action in the savegroup notification resource.

Of course, there might be a bug which causes the problem.
