I have created a database but after leaving it for a little over a month i have come to update it. Now when i try to create a form using form wizard it gives me the message 'no current record' when clicking next at the layout option. If i click ok it just lets me click ok again then goes back to how it was and if i press next again the same happens. Im guessing it is fairly simple but i dont understand it. Please help,

thanks

Actually, I think it means that you have no records at all to explore. So, either you you write in the table itself some records, or:

You add a record through the form you have created. Just write the record and save it through the save button.

Or: put a save button on the form itself:
1. Press the "control wizards on left bar"
2. Insert a button from the same bar.
3. You will have a dialog boxes that enable you to choose from a predefined operation buttons.

I hope this help...

thanks hassanmfsa but i have 125 records in the table i was refering to. I have also tried building the form on quiries and other tables but it still doesn't work.

Any other ideas??

Try downloading MS Jet 4.0 Service pack 4 if you aren't already running it. Let us know if you still have the problem after that.
