No Connection on Local machine.........

I'm New to winsock controls: As I was trying out a simple message connection it returned a "sckError" and I can't seem to be able to make a connection to a listener on the same computer using "127.0.0.1".

I'm running XP and VB6 but some of the DLLs might not have been installed properly when I installed the Visual Studio.


NE tips would be appreciated.

As I said I'm new and apologise if what I ask seems trivial.

Can anyone help.....?
