Avaya just upgraded our S8720's from 3.1.2 to 3.1.5. Prior to the upgrade, caller ID for incoming internal or external calls was working on Bridged Appearances with the Rg: set to n (o-ring). Now, in order to get the caller id to work, we have to set the Rg: to r. The users are in very tight quarters and don't want the phones ringing. Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, here is the deal. Just got off the phone with Avaya and they told me the Caller ID on Bridge Appearances options did not come accross with the upgrade to 3.1.5. These answers are hard to choke down, so now we will have to add an inspect button for the user to push to see the Caller ID prior to answering the call. Very dissapointing.

How very odd. Thank you for posting the answer.

Weird..not sure who is critizing who. Susan may have replied to the wrong post. Just wanted to let all the great folks on Tek-Tips know about this change if feature/functionality. It is best to walk in our own shoes, as we each have our own unique challenges.
