OK refubing some PC's and new mobos have the 4 pin AXX12V connection. Unfortuantely the PSU doesn't need a cable that converts molex to ATX12V like this:

But need supplier in UK. Anyone know of a supplier as I'm not having much luck finding one at the moment?

A quick search found this on (UK) eBay:

I'd also check Maplin, RSComponents, Farnell, Tandy, etc.

However, are you sure that you old PSUs are going to have the guts to drive an ATX motherboard? You may be wasting your time and a new PSU is probably a better solution.

See this link for some really cheap PSUs:

Got to give it a try. The case design of the Compaq means can't use a new supply as none seem to fit (not size etc. just where the mains cable plugs in is in strange place and just right size so a new/different supply can't be fitted), need to use these cases if possible as the license for 2000 is on the side, saves paying for another OS.

Have checked Maplin and RS can't find anything from their web sites.

Notice Ebay seller is US as well.
