I HAVE AN ATTENDANT CONSOLE WHICH NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO ACTIVATE NIGHT COVERAGE MANUALLY AND ALL "0" OUT CALLS ROUTE TO A CONSOLE-GROUP.THE ATTENDANT IS EXT 3000 AND THE CONSOLE TYPE IS SET AS PRINCIPAL.

You want to make the zero out destination "attd" and not the hard extension of the console. In your case 3000. That way when the night service button on the console is activated the calls will be sent to the night destination that is set on the LDN, trunk and hunt group forms. If you make the NS destination 3000 the calls will continue to ring to the console even when NS is activated. The only reason I ever use the hard extension for a console is if the console wants voicemail or I have more than one console position and want to be able to call them seperately. Otherwise I leave the hard extension blank on the console form.

I'm not sure if you answered the question he is asking, which is not that clear. The poster above is correct. What exactly are you trying to do? The way it is worded sounds like you have several consoles. The zero out destination is I presume out of VM. This would generally be set as an LDN & would ring back at the Console, whether it is in nights or not(I think) unless a night destination is specified in the LDN form.

I aggree that what is going on is unclear. If u do have more than one console then the calls will not go to the other consoles (302 type), unless they are set up as night consoles.
