Please help. We had a fly by night installation into one of our offices. We have a G3si connected via a 100 meg NativeLan, which we are connecting another G3si where the Audix is located. I need to have the remote G3 press night service and all calls routed over the tie line between them and to the night greeting, which is 1633 in the Intuity. I tried putting the Night Destination on each of all the incoming trunk groups but it states that 1633 isn't assigned, so i programmed 1633 as awoh w/ x-port and covered to extension 1633 (night greeting). For some reason the calls aren't getting any messages. I have deleted the time of day table that the installer put in and have noticed a routing table of 3130 in the Intuity with a business schedule of 8-5, M-F. How do I program the remote G3 to go to night service greeting of 1633 when the night service button is on???

Do you have DCS (Distributed Communications System) running over the connection?

Is the 1633 extension a Listed Directory Number? Is it a DID? Is it in a trunk group form where night service is activated? Look at the Audix in the auto-attendant routing to see if it set up there.

Yes we do have DCS connecting the sites. And yes it is listed in the aa routing under extension 3130 with a business schedule of 8-5 going to day greeting 1632 and night of 1633??

I assume, because you mentioned night service on the remote switch, that you have attendant consoles. I also assume that the voice mail, because you have DCS, is being used for both switches (You never know!). There are several ways to do this but this will get you close. Hre's one way. On the remote switch add a x-ported station, say station 1000. Make a new coverage path for station 100 with point one in coverage R4 (assuming R4 is not used). Make the coverage remote entry R4 3130. On the Intuity (Def Audix?) change the auto-attendant routing and add the extension 1000, that you added above and send it to the same 1632 and 1633 day night boxes. I don's know which switch version you are on, but look at the change sys coverage options. You may have one set wrong. Listed directoy Number will work also, but you could give this a try first.

Thanks

Chris
