Nfuse

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to implement Nfuse at a client. I running Metaframe XPa with feature release 2. The server is running windows 2000 sp4 as the OS. I had opened ports 1494,80,1604 and 8585 at my firewall. TCP/IP port 8585 is the port used by XML. I'm trying to access the published applications from my office using nfuse 1.7 but, I do not get access to it. Internally Nfuse works fine without any problem. Any recommendations will be accepted. Thanks in advance!

Are you running NAT on the Firewall? If so you will need to set the NFuse to use alternate address and add an alternate address on the MetaFrame server using the altaddr command.

If you have multiple MetaFrame servers you may want to look at using Citrix Secure Gateway (CSG) so you only have one ip address exposed to the world (if you are running NFuse and CSG on the same server, or two ip’s if they are on separate servers.
