Has anyone found a set of drivers that doesn't corrupt everything copied to the HD?

I have tried it on my friends/families computers (have different chipsets (VIA, ALi) and it doesn't corrupt anything transferring files back and forth.

So far I'm not happy with the nforce2 chipset. If it crc's on highspeed usb devices it's rather useless.

Oh, I forgot to mention Windows 2000 drivers...

Or am I better off getting a PCI card?

I'm aware that on XP you need SP1 to even get the usb2.0 to work and there is a patch supplied on my driver disk that needs to be run also. It may be worth checking your mobo manufacturers site to see if the same thing exists for yours.

I have W2K service pack 4, so I should be okay for requirements, I do believe Service Pack 4 is required.

I have also heard a lot of problems with this particular chipset with both windows 2000 and xp and highspeed devices, so I thought it'd be better to ask in this forum... I'll also ask in the w2k one later.
