Hi all,
I am working in Word 2003, sp2.
I am doing a mail merge from a text file that contains comma-separated fields. I only need four fields from each row, and I'd like to get as many row on a single page of the Word doc as possible (the text file contains hundreds of rows).
So, I inserted the merge fields which correspond to the text file, then inserted the "next record" code a number of times. However, when I merge to a new doc, I only get 1 record per page. It gives me as many of the rows as I ask for, but will not put them on the same page. It seems to be ignoring the next record code, and I can't seem to figure out why.
Any suggestions?
