Newtare 5.1 sp4 Cannot communicate with other servers.

Hello All, I have a Newtare 5.1 sp4 that Cannot communicate with other servers, all the servers are 5.1 and they are in different Vlans,
here is whats happening: this is located on vlan 103, from the server I'm able to ping the gateway on the switch and Im able to ping a workstation on the same vlan but I'm not able to ping any other servers on the different vlans but the wierd thing is that Im able to ping all the servers from the workstation that is located on the same vlan where the server is located and no problems, there is no rules for routing to prevent the server to pass throug the router.
does anybody have any Idea if this is related with the server or something else. change different NICs and the same results I even used a different PC and nothing.

It sounds like the default gateway for that server is set wrong - you can ping that server from a workstation on the same VLAN, but not from others. The server can ping in it's own VLAN but not others.

yeap that's right sever will ping the same vlan but no from other, I will check the gateway.

thanks for leading me to the right direction, you were right it was a router issue, it was trickie because the NIC card was replaced then I installed the new NIC and somehow the entry below shows NET 0 but NET 0 was not binding with the new card so what I did was:
original entry on sys:\etc\gateways file:
Net 0 Gateway 10.1.1.10 Metric 1 Passive
then I added:
Net 1 Gateway 10.1.1.10 Metric 1 Passive
Net 2 Gateway 10.1.1.10 Metric 1 Passive
Net 3 Gateway 10.1.1.10 Metric 1 Passive

I was not sure what NET id my nic was so I entried those 3 extra line
but it worked.
