Newbie Question

I am new to crystals and need some simple help. I have database I only want to pull certain records from according to a field equalling a certain criteria. EX: I want all data from the database where the group field equals H.

Click on Report, Edit Selection formula, Group, and in the group selection formula, enter the logic that you mentioned.

The record selection formula works much the same way. Software Support for Sage Mas90, Macola, Crystal Reports, Goldmine and MS Office

Count ({TEST.GROUP}) = "H"

In the group selection formula:
Left({Groupname},1)="H"

count() would return an integer

Or, if the database field value you are looking for is "H", then in the record selection formula, {Fieldname}="H" Software Support for Sage Mas90, Macola, Crystal Reports, Goldmine and MS Office
