I have installed the Cold Fusion Server on my Workstation, running PWS and NT. I have gone into administrator and set up a datasource, Northwind, for test purposes. I have verified the data source is configured correctly, using the administrator "verify" function.

It is my understanding, from the help files, that I should now see this Northwind datasource when I choose the Database tab in Studio. I am not seeing it, so I must be missing something.

Would someone be kind enough to let me know what I am missing?

Thanks.

Hi!

If I am understanding your setup, your CF server is on the same computer than your CF studio...

It should be pretty easy:
[tab]- go in the database tab
[tab]- there's an empty text box with an arrow near the top of the tab, click on the arrow
[tab]- select localhost
[tab]- now you should see your db...

If your CF server is not on the same computer than your CF studio you will have to use a RDS server to do this...

I hope this help...
Chris

Chris,

Thanks, I didn't realize I needed to look at local host, I was looking for Northwind.
