Hi,
Do end-users need any supporting libraries or .NET installed on their machine to run a form based VB.NET application?

Thank you,

Susie

The end users need to have the .Net Framework installed. You can download it from microsoft. Just do a search for DotNetfx.exe

You can also find this on your visual studio cd's as well as other microsoft products.

The framework is also available from Windows Update.

...and it can be bootstrapped into installers built for .Net applications.

Rhys666 How do you bootstrap it, Whenever I include the .Net Framework when building the installer VS.Net returns an error and tells me to exclude framework.

Thanks

Martin

You need to bootstrap the .Net framework redistributable, which should be available here .Net Framework Downloads
