We have a client who we maintain their PIX firewall and they want to allow the company they use to do their payroll to e-mail the payroll reports to them. The problem they are having is that the e-mail is sent in an encrypted format and the PIX is stripping the encrypted files out of the emails. Can someone point me in the right direction on resolving this issue? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

A pix can not do what you describe. I'd start looking at your mail server/mime types/antivirus/antispam scanning software. You getting a winmail.dat file?

Thank you for the quick reply. I looked at the exchange server and it would have stripped the files unless they were of a certain format. I made the cahnge to allow any encrypted attachment and told them to resend. If that doesn't work, I'll repost.
