new record in subform when combo box changes????!!!

Ok, well i have a form and a sub-form. In the form i have a combo box. This box i want to assign it a procedure to open a new record in the sub-form.

I have a button in the sub-form that produces this new record... however i want to make that not necessary...

how can i call on this code? or is there a way of getting this new record up? ive tried using a macro with the sub-form... but it comes up with an error saying that the form isnt open.

Some help would be great...

If you wish an event to 'fire' with the combobox, just use the afterupdate event on the combobox to do whatever you wish.
