Anyone using the new Version of OTM (Communication Server 1000 Telephony Manager)

Im looking at upgrading our OTM to the latest version, but after talking to our supplier, then said that this is not as powerful as OTM?

I cant understand why, as its supposed to be a later verion?

Thanks

i personally haven't used it but i've seen it being used, it looks easyier to use & understand, but things that are normally that simple have restricted functionallity.

thanks for the input, what is the latst version of the actual product know as OTM? Im looking at a PDF from Nortel, about version 2.2, and there seems to be a nice GUI Web Front End if needed (which will be good for some of our admins, who simply need to change a phone quickly) but does this version also allow you to access TTY via a web browser?

OTM 2.2 can still be used to administer CS1000.
We have just upgraded 1 of out opt.11s to CS1000 + use OTM 2.2 to admin the other opt.11s + the CS1000.
If the CS1000 has come with a signalling server, then that uses Element Manager which can also do some admin of the CS1000.

OTM web interface will work with the use of tty's. it also has a terminal mode available through the web interface, if connected to the pbx using tcpip.
