I installed a new AU13 Motherboard by FIC with the 1394 option along with a AMD Athalon 1.3 GHz Processor and 256 MB of PC3200 DDR Ran (1 stick) in an Enlight Case with 360 Watt Power Supply and using Microsoft Windows XP Home Operating System. The system works great with one exception, when you goto Start / Shut Down, it doesn't. The systen goes through the motions of shutting down and then the screen goes black then proceeds to reboot as if you had done a restart instead of a shutdown. So far the only way to shut it down is to turn off the switch on the Power Supply or turn off the surge protector which is a 7 outlet APC Surge Arrest PER7-T. Does anyone have a solution to this issue.
Thanks in advance,
Dave DuBurk

Hi !

Try "shutdown -s -f"

If it shuts down okay you have some programs/drivers
that prevents the sh-dwn.
