I have exchange 2003 on windows 2000 server. On another W2K server DC, I open up ADC users/computers and create a new user. Name, password, box checked for make a mailbox and all the setting are correct> Finish button. Account is made, but when I go into the properties of the new user account and view the tab E-mail Address, I see nothing. When I go to the Exchange advanced tab, I see only one permission, SELF. I should see a ton of permission like the other accounts. I manually create the permission to match what the other accounts have and add to of the important e-mail address's in the other tab. username@blah.com and username@east.blah.com. I still can't see the mailbox and I can't open up outlook 2003>To and search the GAL for the new user name.
Just some extra info: I can send an e-mail manually to username@blah.com and username@east.blah.com and view the mail via OWA.
Real question is why when I creat the account the standard permissions and standard e-mail address info that should come over from (not sure) is not coming over.
Thanks for any help.
