A staff person has new mail going right into the deleted items folder rather than inbox. I checked the profile, and new messages go into Mailbox - username. Can anyone tell me how to have new mail go into the inbox and NOT deleted items?

It is in a different location for different versions of Outlook, but I would start by seeing if the user created a rule. In Outlook 2000, the Rules Wizard is on the Tools menu. See if the user created a rule that is causing the messages to be sent to deleted items.
