new IP licenses

Hi, question for the gurus:

I have a CS1000M MG and am running out of IP licenses. I am running v4.5 on this system, and my Vendor (Qwest) claims I cannot add any more IP licenses without upgrading to the newest version first, which I think is 6? Obviously this is very expensive and likely will not happen due to cost. Are they just trying to sell me on the upgrade, or can I really not get any more IP licenses with my current software version? Let me know what you think, thanks!

no BS, realse 7 is out and active with 7.5 or 8 by late year. 2 releases back is typically always been the limit.

Actually 7.5 was released in late December.
