New Hardware found

Under Win XP Pro, I use a Minolta printer with a HP5L driver.
There is actually no driver for XP for this printer.
How can I keep the "New Hardware found" wizard from popping up each time the printer is started?

I had the same "Found New Hardware" problem. Solved it by disabling virus-scanner during driver-installation. Good Luck!
