Hi,
I have a ASUS P5AD2 Premium motherboard with an intel pentium 4 processor. I juste swaped the stock fan for a Zalman CPNS 7700-AlCu fan. I wore a anti-static bracelet during the whole process. Since the installation many strange stuff has happened :
1. The PC reboot without a reason from time to time, no error in the event logger
2. I sometimes get hard disk error when I boot, rebooting or unplugging and replugging the main drive usually solves this.
3. Sometime the PC won't boot at all. It gets stuck in the post for very long just after the ram test. Then after like 10 seconds it detects my 2 CD drive and then nothing...
I believe their is a problem either with the drive or the board? Any clue?
One last thing that is weird, the MoBo CPU fan connector has 4 pins while the Zalman fan only has 3.
Thanks
Fred
