Hello everyone,

My vendor just installed a new PBX for us in Mulhouse France and we are having a problem with a E1 that is giving us repetitive 'bug' messages (DSL001, DSL002, and MISP106). We are dealing with the problem itself but until its fixed, I would like to turn off the bug messages. I have taken the BUG out of USER in LD 17 on the TTY, but I am still getting the messages. Where am I going wrong here?

Thanks in advance for the help!

I believe you need to remove MTC as these messages are not BUG messages. You will then of course not get any error messages on the terminal.

I turned off MTC, BUG, SCH just to see if any of them would work and nothing did.

But thanks! =)

are you sure that you are making the changes to the TTY that you're on? Also, maybe make the change and then dis/enl the tty, just a thought

You can turn off the BUG messages in LD 17 in the PARM area.
Print LD 22
REQ PRT
TYPE PARM

Look for the prompt ERRM
You will see ERR BUG AUD

Turn off BUG messages with XBUG

LD 17
REQ CHG
TYPE PARM
.
.
.
ERRM XBUG

.
You can also turn off ERR and AUD.
I would turn them back on when you have the problem resolved.
