Hi all experts,
I have a SUN BLADE 150 with Solaris 8 loaded. I am trying to install a Pioneer DVD/CD writer (DVR-AO6U) onto my system. I took out the CD reader that came installed on the system and just replaced it with the Pioneer. Everything seems to work. i can read and copy from CD's that are placed in. HOWEVER, I have insall GEAR UNIX Pro 4.12c onto the system to be able to make DVD's and can't seem to get the Pioneer to write. In the GEAR software I get a SCSI driver error code = 02023000h. AND on the system console I get scsi:warning /pci@1f,0/ide@d/sd@1,0 (sd0).

Does anyone know what i can do to fix this problem, or even what the problem is? i really really want to copy data onto this DVD burner and just can't seem to do it.

Thanks for any and all help
