In the design mode if I have 10 fields stacked vertically is there an easy way to select them all and space them out evenly in between each other?

Thanks

Go into the section expert for that section and remove the top check mark for "free form placement". This will give you consistent vertical spacing. Or you could use snap-to-grid.

I cannot find "free form placement" anywhere. When i select the fields and choose Section Expert I don't see anything like that. :(

What version of CR are you using? If you are using XIr2 I believe that they took that out. You would have to use Snap-To-Grid.

I am using CR Developer; Product Type: Full 11.5.3.417

I believe that 11.5 is release 2 so the "Free Form Placement" checkmark is gone for you. You can activate Snap-to-Grid and adjust the size of the grid to your requirement.

ok thank you, I also found another thing that bugs me and I can't figure out; I need the right edge of a number in a sub report align up with the number in a field outside of the sub report and it is off and I have no idea how to do this.

nevermind I figured it out, I went into edit sub report and moved the field.

Thank you for you help
