I'd say it won't work:

Notes:

•Release 1.3 requires Communication Manager 3.1 or higher or Distributed Office 1.1

Did you read the whole page?

Usability

* IPO 5.0 Support for Call Log, Contacts, Redial, Text Entry, where the IPO directly controls the telephone display for the specified applications.
* IPO 6.0 Support for graphic display (bit-mapped) phones ("-I" phones), whereas previous IPO releases only supported character-based display phones.

But that is already included in the current file.
But for who do not read the whole page:

Bright, backlit displays
2-way speakerphones on all models
Familiar telephone interface with fixed feature keys and LED buttons
Integrated Contacts list and Call Logs

Homo sapiens non urinat in ventum

honey, i fried the IP Office !!!

A yard full of tards

Just installed on a 1616 I have on my desk, using IP Office 412 v5.0(18) seems to be working fine. At least it can't be any worse than the last set of firmware they shipped!

:0)

hairlessupportmonkey: The mentioned support for IPO is under the 1.22 section. No mention of IPO support under the 1.3 section.

But it works (just upgrade one 1608)
There are only no new features i guess ( did not try to find them)

Actually, the new feature that I was looking at is the fact that the audioenv type settings in the 46xxsettings.txt file do now take effect. Before, the 16xx phones completely ignored these settings.
