HI everyone

I'm wondering about networking IPOffice with system of other vendors (Siemens, etc.) using IP technology (H232 protocol).
If IPO uses protocol H323 (which is common standard protocol)to communicate with other IPO so any other device using H323 can be also networked with IPO.

Has any one of you any experience in sending voice through the LAN (or WAN) to other telecomunication system?

Are there any limitations relative to IPOffice? What are the conditions for other systems to proper work with IPO using LAN?

I have connected to puredata (planet) and multitech MultiVoIP h.323 gateways, no problems. Yes you can connect to other voip pbx's also. The IPO supports full Q.sig integration, as well as h.450. How good the integration ends up being is a function of what the other switch will support.

What you definately won't get is SCN, which means no centralized voicemail.

You may need a third party ip endpoints licence on the IPO. They're not very expensive though.
