I am hoping I can describe my problem okay. Bear with me please!
We have a couple of printers on our network that are attached to computers and shared out. My problem is this. I can print to the networked printers when I am logged in as administrator, but when I am logged in under my username I cannot print to it. I know it is not a rights issue because everyone has administrative rights. Also, I was able to print to it fine under my username for about a day or so and then lost the connection. This also happened to another user on the same network but printing to a different networked printer. She was able to print to it fine for about two weeks and then in the middle of last Friday, she lost her connection and can no longer print to it. When I try to add the printers, I can see the computers that they are attached to, but cannot see the printers themselves. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling tcp/ip and downloading drivers...I just don't know what is causing them to "disappear". It seems strange that it works one day and not the next, or for some users and not others. (I forgot to mention that other people can see the printers and print to them while others cannot.) Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
