I have a database with Backend Database.How end where can i make the user and group permission.
The Backend is on a server and all the users have a copy of the "User Database".
How can the admistrator update the user and group permissions for all the users.

Pleaseee...

Two points of view here each being perfectly credible and neither better than the other. You might want to pick which ever you are most comfortable using.

The first is that a copy of the mdw file resides on each user PC as does the FE database. The drawback with this method is you must have a way to rapidly deploy updates to both the FE and the mdw file to you users. This is really not a liability as there are a number of free deployment functions available to do this.

An alternative is for the mdw file to reside on the network and the path to the mdw file is included in the desk top shortcut to your Front End. At the moment this seems to be the method most in favor. A copy of the mdw file is kept on the network in a folder available to only DB admin people. They can make changes to this copy, test them, and then copy the updated mdw file to the appropriate shared folder.
