Is anybody familar with the status variable "bytes_sent"? I have been running MySQL 4.0 on a Windows 2000 server for over a year and the variable "bytes_sent" was never greater than 0. Which would make sense because I am using MySQL for a in-house application that is networked throughout the plant. It is my understanding that bytes_sent is bytes sent through a TCP/IP connection. Anyways, I just installed MySQL 4.1 on a PC for testing and the "bytes_sent" field is jumping like crazy and I am the only user logged into the database. Where are the bytes being sent to?

Does anybody have any idea what is happening...?
