Hi,

I have a Time Server and i want to set the Intuity LX and CMS servers to get it's timing from the Time Server.
How do i do this?

Thanks.

I believe in the Intuity LX web interface there's an option to set a time server.

On the CMS servers - the xntpd daemon must be running and you set up the server in this file: /etc/inet/ntp.conf

Thanks ReallyRotten

On the Intuity LX web interface, there's no option to set a time server. Where exactly do i set this up?

Thanks

Sorry EchoSpark, I checked and I guess you can't set up a time server on Intuity LX. I was thinking of the option to adjust the time thinking there was a time server option in there. I apologise. You can only adjust the time manually.

If you could get into the linux os (which I don't think Avaya allows) the set up would be similar to the Solaris set up (or S8700 media servers if you have a timing synchronization set up there).

Yeah i thought of getting into the linux os, but it seems avaya does not allow that.

Thanks a lot
