network problem

Hi,

I am currently running a home network with 2 computers running windows xp pro.

I would like to know how come, when i click on 1 of the computers (from my network places) , it prompts me for a pw and username? When i enter the un and pw, i gain access to the drive. Whereas, when clicked on the other computer, i am not prompted for anything.

How do I remove this? Or what have i done wrong?
