Network-Printing on Peer-2-Peer W98 / ME 1

Hi!

Our Problem is, that a printjob, working fine on local printers, on Printers attached to another Member of the Peer2Peer-Net and connected via "net use lpt1: \\abc\abcprinter" always wait about 30-60seconds to be printed. the jobs are printed immediatey when leaving the clipper-app.
we tried a lot of settings like "DOS-Spooling" but nothing helped us....

anyone an idea ?

Add the following sections to your system ini file.

printbuftime=1

[ifsmgr]
printbuftime=1

Could it be that you need an EJECT or SET PRINTER TO to clear the print buffer from within the program and, in effect, print the document.

Send a Line Feed Chr(12)+chr(13)
