network printer

i just bought a used hp laserjet printer. it has a network port on it. i have a wireless workgroup of windows 98 systems with a wireless/ethernet hub. i can plug the printer into the hub but how do i get it an ip address and the pc's to print to it?
The only dumb questions are the ones that are never asked

I think you have to install the necessary HP softwares to get it working.

to download the relevant softwares.

U have to assign a static IP address to this printer also.

What model is your HP laserjet printer? 4550N ?
