I can not seem to add a win2k pro client to a domain in win 2k server. I go through the normal process of adding a computer to a domain, but get an error that states "network path not found". I can see the server by going through network places, but simply can not add the machine to the domain. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Is you local TCP/IP properties set right? I would check to make sure the client TCP/IP settings are set with a valid IP address and a valid DNS server IP address. Make sure that the client is pointing only to DNS servers in the LOCAL domain.

Also, I'm not 100% on this...but don't put the fully qualified domain name in...just the netbios domain name. (Actually, I would try both..but I think the netbios one should be used here...could be wrong)

-hope this helps. Joseph L. Poandl
