I was running an NT4 Domain
I created a Windows 2003 AD in Mixed Mode
I moved my users over to the new domain
The new domain runs on a new subnet
I can browse host names & shares by \\hostname
I resolve names to IP in cmd
When I go into Network Neighborhood on my DC, I see all of the hostnames on the new domain
But . . .
When I go into NN on any member PC or Server, I cannot see the hostnames.
I am at a loss.
I have tried:
WINS, using 3 different servers
Enableing Netbios over TCP/IP
Installing Netbios as a protocol
When on the old domain, I had no problems with seeing the host names in NN, what would cause this change in the AD? I looked in the default doamin GP, and can find nothing that might cause this.
I can come out of mixed mode, and go native 2000 (I have some 2k servers) but will that A) Cause any problems with the 6 NT Workstations machines? or B) Even help the situation?
Please help,
Thank You!
