I have 4 Windows 2000 servers. One is a web server that is exposed to the external WAN via a public IP address and is also exposed to the internal LAN via a private IP address. The other servers are on the internal LAN using private IP addresses. I have noticed an unusual amount of activity on the web server lately and I want to see what sort of requests are coming in from the outside (I want to check potential security issues). What is a good tool for this? Game Over, Man!

What I do is check my Logs located in -

c:\winnt\system32\logfiles

from here you can check what, when, where(ip address) the active is happening.
