Hello

I have enabled NLB on two servers as per the implementation instructions on the Microsoft WEB site. All works ok initially, but after a couple of hours one side of the NLB is not accessible on the network for about 10 minutes. This is repeated randomly. The server has not rebooted during this time and there are no errors in the event log to suggest any type of failure.

The systems are running W2K3 Enterprise and the main function of the box's is IIS applications.

I know there could be numerous causes of the issue, but any assistance in resolving this would be appreciated.

Regards

I forgot to say that both servers have a single NIC and are using unicast as the Cluster Operation Mode.

Can't believe no one else has experienced a similar problem?!!?
