Hello.
first the info, that I'm not a cobol-programmer and that I can't get hands on the sourcecode.
The Problem:
On our new Dell Notebook a Cobol-App won't work. It can not connect to the Database-Server. It's a Unix-Server.
The Windows-Apps CAN connect to the same server. No Problems via Telnet, FTP or Windows/Samba. Even the Databasefiles a reachable this way.
All other Clients, most of them also with Win XP SP2, work without Problems...
What we tried:
- Disabled all not used Network-Adapters
- Disabled internal Modem
- Checke Network Protocols
- Disabled Win Firewall
So, has anybody another suggestion for us?
THANK YOU!
