network IIS stops working

We run IIS on a windows 2000 server. From my PC I can see pages thro IE for days then suddenly the dreaded 'the page cannot be found'. If I restart my PC then all will be well.
Any ideas?
 
It sounds like a name resolution problem. Have you tried adding your webserver's name and IP to your local hosts file?
 
Yes I've tried that. I've rebooted now and the IP address of the server is 192.168.0.1. When it fails the IP address will be 127.0.0.1.
