Network error on sending emails

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what error message means or how to fix it.
From: Webshield SMTP V4.5 MR3 Mail Service
Subject: Returned Mail: Error During Delivery

<customerservice@domainA.com>


Requested action aborted: Network socket error (10020). [SMTP Error Code 442]

What is happening is that we have a distribution list setup on your exchange server that has internal recipients and external recipients. The external recipients are added by creating contacts within Active Directory and adding them to the distribution list.

So we have a partner company that sends to this distribution list and it then gets sent to everyone who is a member of that distribution list. What is happening though is that when it sends to the external email address (customerservice@domainA.com) it shows it as being sent from the distribution list. When this cannot send the bounce back goes to the entire distrbution list.

So i have 2 questions, why I am getting that Network Socket Error and why is it sending from the distribution list that it is being sent to? i can upload the whole message if needed.

Does it work if sent from an internal address?

Delete the Outlook profile and recreate then test. If no change, upload the rest of the info.
