I need some expert assistance. I have 2 networks (NT & W2k) that I need to exchange information. I need to move files from the NT network to the W2K network. Each has their own server and users, who do not need to log on to the other network. I'm a bit over my head here trying to connect them. Can I use a pair of routers? If so, what cables go where and I may need some help getting the routes correct. The NT network uses a 10.x.x.x IP with a 255.255.0.0 subnet and the W2K uses 192.168.x.x with a 255.255.255.0 subnet. Any other suggestions would be very appreciated too.
Also, can the NT router be used to route and as a gateway to the internet at the same time?
The routers are Linksys, but this forum seems to have the best experts.
Thanks for your help!!
