I know this is going to sound extremely general, but I just got to another location and the network/internet seems to be extremely slow here. I checked with AT&T and they say the usage is normal but moving a 1gb file can take 25 minutes. Backups across the network take 37 hours for 350gb. What tests can I run to see where my problem begins?

Also, forgot to mention. The switches are all HP 10/100 switches and all NICs show running 100mb.

My first suspicion would be a switch trunk/uplink is set to 10/half.

If you know the physical path your 1GB of data is taking, you can trace that out and verify. If, however, you have two hosts on the same switch (and same layer 2 vlan) having this problem, I'd say you have a duplex mismatch somewhere and the switchport/nic is doing a lot of renegotiating and retransmitting due to collisions and other errors.
