NetWare 6.5 Server keeping files open after users close them.

Hi,
I have a situation where after a recent upgrade to Novell NetWare 6.5 files are being left open on the Server. The users have long since closed their applications, documents, and even logged off. This happens in a variety of applications and programs for MS Word to SQL. The only way I've found to release these files is to dismount the volume (NSS) and remount it. Then the files release. Any ideas?

Set client file caching enabled=off
set level 2 oplocks enabled=off

That should help.
