Attended NetWare 6.5 First Class today. Worked with iSCSI briefly.

Very Cool Stuff. You can essentially create a very low cost SAN and/or Cluster on existing hardware (Without buying a SAN or dedicated cluster hardware). And it all works over TCP/IP on your existing infrastructure.

Referred to as "The poor man SAN" by Novell instructor, however the methodologies have a global scope and could be scaled to very expensive hardware too.

I have a netware 6 box with 2 scsi arrays that I use for all my storage. Eventually I'd like to pick up 2 low cost servers, cluster them and use my current nw6 box as an iSCSI SAN backend. Nice technology novell chose to implement...I can stop looking for good deals on fiber channel. :)
