Netshield abends Novell server 5

I have Novell 5 servers on version SP6 NDS 7.51
Scan engine on the server was updated 4.40

and now reports abends on a few of of them even reboots them.

a colleague reckons theres some setting to stop the server from rebooting but I think if the server detects a critical abend it will do so...

Any ideas?
