Does anyone know where netscape puts it's cookies on the client. I need to erase them. I know Explorer puts it in a directory inside windows but I can't find where netscape stores them
Netscape stores the cookie in a file called cookies.txt. Do a search for the file in your netscape installation folder. But do not delete the file completely. just remove the content after the #'s in it. Another suggestion is to write a small batch file to replace the cookies.txt file on every boot or on your choice.
No it is not in the installation folder but it is in the users folder the cookies.txt is in each users where depending on the user that is using netscape at the time of then if there are no users created then it is in the default users folder

webmaster@tripmedia.com
Depends on the version of Netscape. Versions before 4 all shared the same cookies. Netscape 4 introduced the idea of profiles for each user.

nick bulka
