Netscape compatibility with DW4

I have been given the task of redesigning my company's website which I have done in DW4. When I view it in IE I have no problems, all javascripts execute etc. but when I view it in Netscape navigator, hardly anything works. The rollover images don't work and the page layout is distorted (most pages contain multiple layers). Anyone know any good tips for making a site compliant with netscape or if there are any good tutorial sites out there.

First get the netscape resize fix into the page and then retry for the page layout

what script are u using for the rollovers in the pages
if it is the dreamweaver one then there should be no problem

in netscape(4.5 to 4.76) to launge the javascript debugger type

"javascript:" in the location bar and hit enter then if there are any errors for netscape they will be shown if the new window that opens up

I have redesigned the pages using only tables without layers and the scripts are working fine, including the rollovers. Regarding the resize fix, is there a piece of script which, in effect, does the same as the netscape "reload page" button? I have a javascript which generates a scrolling 'latest news' box with links off the content and when I resize the page in netscape, the script stops working, but restarts if I hit the reload button. I have tried the resize fix in DW4 but it doesn't work. Any ideas?

P.S. Why doesn't Netscape support Layers? They are so easy to use for producing great looking effects.
